History

Being involved in retail for many years I have always wanted to run my own business, giving it much thought the idea of selling products produced only in Pennsylvania came to mind. In November of 2000 I was sold on my idea and decided to pursue it.

It seemed only natural to promote and sell items from the state in which I live and to help the economy grow. I researched suppliers and ways to finance a small business start up.

With a solid business plan in hand and a belief in my dream I searched for a location for my business. After much hard work Pure Pennsylvania found its home at 302 Main Street in Great Bend, PA. In 2002 Pure Pennsylvania expanded to it's new home in the Hallstead Plaza, Great Bend.

Since then the business has evolved and more and more private entrepreneur and artists have come forward to supply my store with unique items produced only in our state. The enthusiasm and success of the store is often overwhelming. I hope only to continue to grow and offer a unique shopping experience to my customers, both in my store and online.
